Hi and welcome to Braces Know How! I’m Dr. Adriana, and in this section of the blog, I’d like to share a few things about myself. I graduated from the University of Dentistry in Cluj, Romania in 2010. A few years later, in 2015, I finished my orthodontics residency while also working as a general dentist.

I’m a doctor, a mom, a dog owner, a gardener, a blogger and overall a multi-passionate person. And one of my passions is this website right here!

Hundreds of patients and dozens of courses later, I can confidently answer most questions in the braces field. However, learning never ends, and treatment philosophies differ, so I encourage you to seek multiple opinions and treat this as informational content only.

Since I have both a dentist’s and an orthodontist’s perspective, I can share valuable insights on how braces can impact your oral health, and I can also suggest solutions far beyond just braces. Remember, orthodontists are dentists with an extra specialty! That’s why it’s so important to see a certified professional when straightening your smile.

I treat patients of all ages, from very young to mature, so I’m familiar with all the challenges different stages of life might bring. If you’re a parent, welcome! Braces, expanders and other devices aren’t as scary for your child as you might think, in fact, they adapt far quicker than we do.

If you’re an adult researching braces, don’t worry, I got you covered. Getting braces as an adult is very common these days, and while uncomfortable, there are things you can do to make sure everything runs smoothly.

I hope you enjoy this website’s content, and don’t hesitate to leave comments or suggest topics!
